To ensure the naturally warm and balanced tones of this finely tuned instrument are faithfully projected on stage, the recently released CTF-2N preamp, a celebrated throwback to the FET technology of the famed “Brownie” preamp, was selected. In celestial events such as a solar eclipse, the penumbra is where the Earth’s shadow only partially blocks the sun’s light and creates a deep-sea blue that transitions subtly, echoing the gentle gradient seen in rare cosmic shadows, and now Takamine’s LTD2024 “Solar Eclipse Limited Edition”.
