Bourgeois The Natural L-DBO PS-S brings classic spruce-and-mahogany tone to a comfortable small-body acoustic. Handcrafted in Lewiston, Maine, this Professional Series model pairs a hand-voiced Sitka spruce top with mahogany back and sides, finished in ultra-thin satin nitrocellulose lacquer for a clean, understated appearance.

Sitka spruce provides clarity and dynamic range, while mahogany contributes warmth and focused mids. The combination suits intricate fingerstyle arrangements, melodic picking and vocal accompaniment, offering a balanced voice that keeps individual notes clear within fuller chords.

Sized between a traditional 00 and 000/OM, the L-DBO provides an inviting feel with impressive acoustic presence. Its 25-inch scale length and 1-23/32-inch nut width create a comfortable platform for expressive bends, detailed chord work and relaxed playing.

Carefully voiced bracing supports the soundboard’s response, while Dana Bourgeois’ proprietary bolt-on neck design provides practical long-term serviceability. A ziricote fingerboard and matching rectangular bridge complement the natural wood tones, accented by tiny mother-of-pearl dots and ivoroid binding.

An ebony headstock veneer with a mother-of-pearl Bourgeois logo, Schaller nickel tuners with ivoroid oval buttons and a tortoise celluloid pickguard complete the traditional styling.
