The Eastman T486-BK is the T486 platform at its most commanding — a 16" double-cutaway thinline semi-hollow finished in a deep, striking Black Truetone Gloss that means business from the moment you pick it up. Where the T486B pairs Phat Cats with a Bigsby, the T486-BK goes a different route: a Seymour Duncan Jazz at the neck and a Seymour Duncan '59 at the bridge, a classic pairing that covers remarkable tonal ground from silky, warm jazz tones to cutting, harmonically rich rock. Deluxe flamed maple laminate body, ivoroid binding on the headstock, neck, and body, pearl split parallelogram inlays, and a black pickguard with ivoroid binding give it a refined elegance that's hard to match at this price.
