Bourgeois The Natural L-DBO PS pairs classic spruce-and-mahogany tone with refined American craftsmanship. Handcrafted in Lewiston, Maine, this Professional Series acoustic combines a torrefied Sitka spruce top with solid Honduran mahogany back and sides, finished in high-gloss nitrocellulose lacquer for a timeless appearance.

Torrefied Sitka spruce brings an open, responsive character, while Honduran mahogany contributes warmth and focused mids. Together, they create a clear, balanced voice suited to fingerstyle arrangements, melodic picking and vocal accompaniment, with definition that keeps individual notes distinct within fuller chords.

Sized between a traditional 00 and 000/OM, the L-DBO offers comfortable small-body proportions with impressive acoustic presence. Its 25-inch scale length and 1-23/32-inch nut width provide an inviting platform for intricate chord work and expressive playing.

Aged Tone scalloped X-bracing supports the soundboard’s response, while Dana Bourgeois’ proprietary bolt-on neck design provides practical long-term serviceability. The Honduran mahogany neck features a 12-fret contour profile, paired with a ziricote fingerboard and matching rectangular bridge.

Ivoroid binding, a single-ring ivoroid rosette and tiny mother-of-pearl dot inlays complement the natural finish. An ebony headstock veneer with a mother-of-pearl Bourgeois logo, Waverly open-gear tuners and a tortoise celluloid pickguard complete the traditional styling.
