The Alvarez ABT60E brings a deep, resonant voice to a familiar six-string playing experience. Tuned B to B, it lets you use standard guitar chord shapes and scale patterns with a lower voicing, opening up fresh possibilities for songwriting, fingerstyle arrangements, and vocal accompaniment.

A solid A+ Sitka spruce top pairs with African mahogany back and sides to deliver warmth, clarity, and a full low register. Alvarez’s FST2 bracing balances strength with soundboard movement, supporting lively projection and definition across the strings.

The extended 704 mm baritone scale length supports the lower tuning, while the 1¾" nut width provides a familiar platform for chord work and fingerpicking. The full-body design gives the ABT60E a traditional acoustic silhouette, with an African mahogany neck and Indian laurel fingerboard.

A natural gloss top is complemented by natural semi-gloss back and sides. Mother-of-pearl and acrylic inlays, an Indian laurel headstock facing, and chrome closed-gear tuners complete the styling. Alvarez’s bi-level Indian laurel bridge, bone nut and saddle, and PPS synthetic bone bridge pins round out the appointments.

For amplified performance, the LR Baggs StagePro Bronze system combines an Element under-saddle pickup with a compact side-mounted preamp. A large backlit tuner, volume, bass and treble controls, and a phase switch provide convenient adjustment on stage. The battery compartment is integrated into the endpin jack assembly for easy access.
