The Alvarez AJ80CE-12 brings the shimmering richness of a 12-string to a powerful jumbo acoustic-electric. Its solid A+ Sitka spruce top and maple back and sides deliver full projection with clear definition, giving strummed chords an expansive sound and picked passages a bright, ringing character.

Alvarez’s FST2 forward-shifted bracing with asymmetric scalloped tone bars is designed to complement the jumbo body’s larger air volume. It balances soundboard movement with structural support, helping maintain clarity, note separation, and an even response across all six string pairs.

The natural gloss finish gives the AJ80CE-12 a classic appearance, complemented by ivory ABS binding, abalone and mother-of-pearl inlays, and a distinctive 12th-fret fingerboard detail. A maple neck, bi-level Indian laurel/rosewood bridge, and real bone nut and saddle complete its carefully considered construction.
