The Alvarez LDR70e Herringbone Sunset features a distinctive 12-fret rounded-shoulder dreadnought design, combining the warmth and character of vintage acoustics with the premium craftsmanship of Alvarez's Laureate Series. Its beautifully contoured body offers a rich, resonant voice with impressive depth, projection, and responsiveness.

Featuring an AAA solid North American Sitka spruce top paired with solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, the LDR70e delivers deep, warm bass, articulate mids, and shimmering highs. The rounded-shoulder body and traditional 12-fret neck joint contribute to its full, expressive character, making it an excellent choice for fingerstyle playing, flatpicking, and dynamic strumming.

Built with Alvarez's meticulous bench-made approach, the Laureate Series features individually selected structural components and hand-finished FS6 forward-shifted bracing. Carefully selected quartersawn Sitka spruce braces are hand-sanded to enhance resonance, tonal balance, and dynamic response.

The striking Sunset Gloss finish is complemented by traditional herringbone purfling and ivoroid binding, creating a timeless, vintage-inspired appearance. Premium ebony appointments, elegant abalone inlays, a traditional single-level ebony bridge, and open-gear tuners complete its refined styling.

With its full 25½-inch scale length, comfortable 12-fret design, and spacious 1¾-inch nut width, the LDR70e delivers excellent playability and articulation.
