The Alvarez MG70CE pairs an all-solid spruce and rosewood construction with a versatile Grand Auditorium cutaway body. Built with a solid AAA Sitka spruce top and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, it offers a rich, full voice with clear articulation and the dynamic range to move from delicate fingerstyle passages to confident strumming.

Alvarez’s FS6 forward-shifted, scalloped bracing allows a larger area of the soundboard to vibrate freely, supporting strong projection and a responsive feel. Carefully considered top thickness, brace shaping, and wood selection work together to bring out the instrument’s balance and tonal depth.

The natural gloss finish showcases the tonewoods, while an East Indian rosewood fingerboard and headstock facing, premium mother-of-pearl inlays, and open-gear tuners give the MG70CE a refined, traditional appearance. A bi-level rosewood bridge, ebony bridge pins, and bone nut and saddle complete its premium appointments.

With a 25½" scale length and 1¾" nut width, the MG70CE provides a familiar platform for both chord work and detailed fingerpicking. The Grand Auditorium body offers fullness and versatility, while the cutaway provides convenient access to the upper frets.

For amplified performance, the LR Baggs HiFi system combines dual bridge-plate sensors with a built-in preamp to capture the guitar’s balance, definition, and dynamics. Its lightweight, non-invasive design preserves the instrument’s acoustic character, while the closed sensors help resist feedback on stage.

An Alvarez AFC30 FlexiCase is included.
