The Yairi DYM66HD brings the warm, focused character of Honduran mahogany to a full-bodied dreadnought. Handcrafted in Kani, Japan, this Honduran Series acoustic features mahogany across the top, back and sides, complemented by a natural gloss finish and refined ebony appointments.

Its all-mahogany construction delivers rich mids, rounded trebles and a full, clear bass response. The dreadnought body adds depth and projection, making the DYM66HD a versatile choice for rhythmic accompaniment, blues picking and expressive fingerstyle playing. Chords have a warm, woody texture, while melodic lines retain focus and definition.

Hand-carved FST6 forward-shifted bracing with asymmetric tone bars uses lighter braces to encourage soundboard movement while maintaining structural support. Yairi’s ebony Direct Coupled bridge transfers string vibration into the top, paired with an extended dovetail neck joint and careful attention to construction.

The mahogany neck meets an ebony fingerboard, with a 25½-inch scale length and 44 mm nut width providing a comfortable platform for chord work and detailed picking. The neck joins the body at the 14th fret, preserving familiar dreadnought proportions.

Ivoroid binding, an ebony headstock plate and gold Gotoh 510 tuners with ebony buttons complete the understated appearance. A bone nut and saddle and ebony bridge pins round out the appointments. Supplied with a hardshell case, the DYM66HD combines distinctive tonewoods with the meticulous craftsmanship of the Yairi workshop.
