The Yairi GYM60HD pairs a solid AAAA Adirondack spruce top with solid vintage Honduran mahogany back and sides in a versatile Grand Auditorium body. Handcrafted in Kani, Japan, this Honduran Series acoustic combines premium tonewoods, refined ebony appointments and a natural gloss finish that highlights its understated elegance.

Adirondack spruce brings clarity and dynamic headroom, while Honduran mahogany adds warmth and focused mids. Together, they create an expressive voice with definition for intricate fingerstyle passages and fullness for rhythmic accompaniment. The Grand Auditorium shape offers a comfortable balance of acoustic depth and articulation.

Hand-carved FST6 forward-shifted bracing with asymmetric tone bars uses lighter braces to encourage soundboard movement while maintaining structural support. Yairi’s ebony Direct Coupled bridge transfers string vibration into the top, complemented by an extended dovetail neck joint and careful attention to construction.

The one-piece mahogany neck features a semi-gloss finish and an ebony fingerboard, with a 25½-inch scale length and 44 mm nut width providing a versatile platform for chord work, melodic picking and expressive fingerstyle playing. The neck joins the body at the 14th fret.

Ivoroid binding, an ebony headstock plate and gold Gotoh 510 tuners with ebony buttons complete the refined appearance. A bone nut and saddle and ebony bridge pins round out the appointments. Supplied with a brown Tolex hardshell case, the GYM60HD brings together distinctive tonewoods and meticulous Japanese craftsmanship.
