The Bourgeois Country Boy Dreadnought PS combines classic acoustic styling with carefully voiced tone. Handcrafted by the Bourgeois team in Lewiston, Maine, it pairs a torrefied Sitka spruce top with solid mahogany back and sides for a warm, focused voice with clear articulation.

The dreadnought body brings depth and presence to rhythmic strumming, flatpicked melodies and vocal accompaniment. Spruce provides definition, while mahogany contributes a woody character that keeps the sound direct and expressive.

The PS package pairs the torrefied top with Bourgeois’ Aged Tone bracing and a natural high-gloss finish. Each instrument is hand-voiced to develop balance and responsiveness, giving players room to shape their sound through changes in touch and picking attack.

An ebony fingerboard with mother-of-pearl vintage-style dots and a traditional ebony bridge complement the wood-ring rosette. A ziricote headstock veneer with the Bourgeois logo adds a distinctive finishing touch.

Waverly tuners complete the traditional appointments, while Bourgeois’ proprietary detachable neck joint supports long-term adjustment and serviceability. Supplied with a hardshell case, the Country Boy Dreadnought PS is a versatile handmade acoustic for recording, performance and everyday playing.
