The Bourgeois M5F brings a fresh perspective to the classic F-style mandolin, pairing traditional design with Aged Tone Adirondack spruce and European maple. Its natural high-gloss finish highlights the wood’s character, while ivoroid binding and Bourgeois’s signature Amaryllis inlay add an elegant finishing touch.

The torrefied Adirondack spruce top and torrefied European maple back and sides form the heart of the M5F’s construction. This carefully selected combination offers an appealing foundation for expressive melody playing, intricate picking and rhythmic accompaniment.

An ebony fingerboard, 13-7/8" scale length and 1-5/32" nut width provide familiar proportions for mandolin players. A matching Aged Tone European maple neck completes the instrument’s cohesive wood selection.

Golden Age satin nickel tuners and a custom Bill James tailpiece complement its traditional styling. Supplied with a Loar-style hardshell case, the M5F is a thoughtfully appointed instrument for players drawn to natural finishes and classic F-style character.
