The Bourgeois Country Boy Dreadnought PS-S combines straightforward styling with carefully voiced acoustic tone. Handcrafted by the Bourgeois team in Lewiston, Maine, it pairs a solid Sitka spruce top with solid mahogany back and sides for a warm, articulate voice with the depth and presence of a dreadnought.

Spruce brings clarity and dynamic range, while mahogany contributes a focused, woody character. Together, they create a versatile instrument suited to rhythmic strumming, melodic flatpicking and acoustic accompaniment.

The PS-S features Bourgeois’ thin satin lacquer finish, giving the guitar a smooth feel and an understated natural appearance. Each instrument is hand-voiced to develop balance and responsiveness, bringing careful attention to the way notes speak and chords blend.

An ebony fingerboard and traditional ebony bridge complement the wood-ring rosette. Mother-of-pearl vintage-style dot inlays and a ziricote headstock veneer with the Bourgeois logo add tasteful detail.
