Bourgeois Country Boy Professional Series D ā PS-S
Everything you need. Nothing you don't. Named at the suggestion of Ricky Skaggs in the late '90s, the Country Boy is a guitar that earns its reputation every time you play it. Built in Lewiston, Maine by Dana Bourgeois, the PS-S pairs a AAAA grade Sitka Spruce top with premium Mahogany back and sides ā a combination that delivers balanced warmth, clear articulation, and a natural responsiveness that suits any playing style.
The PS-S version wears Bourgeois' newest satin finish lacquer: vintage tone with a refined, traditional look. Satin finishes are thinner, lighter, and more resonant than their gloss counterparts ā the wood breathes freely, and it shows in the sound.
Ziricote head veneer with Mother of Pearl logo, ebony fretboard, and a 2 5/16" ebony traditional bridge round out a build spec that is uncompromising from headstock to endpin.
