The Bourgeois Hog Top OM PS-S brings the warm, woody character of all-mahogany construction to a balanced Orchestra Model body. Handcrafted in Lewiston, Maine, this Professional Series acoustic pairs carefully voiced tonewoods with an ultra-thin satin nitrocellulose finish for an understated appearance and smooth playing feel.

A hand-voiced mahogany top delivers rich mids, rounded trebles and defined bass, complemented by mahogany back and sides. Its expressive voice suits blues picking, fingerstyle arrangements and vocal accompaniment, offering warmth without losing the clarity that gives intricate passages their shape.

The comfortable OM proportions make the Hog Top a versatile everyday instrument. A 25½-inch scale length and 1¾-inch nut width provide a familiar platform for detailed chord work, while 2-5/16-inch bridge string spacing gives the picking hand room for precise fingerstyle playing.

An ebony fingerboard and traditional ebony bridge complement the natural mahogany, accented by vintage-style mother-of-pearl dots and black fingerboard binding. Tortoise body binding, black-and-ivoroid purfling and a three-ring ivoroid rosette lend the guitar a classic appearance.

A ziricote headstock veneer with an ivoroid Bourgeois logo, Schaller Vintage Bean tuners and a tortoise celluloid pickguard complete the appointments. The Hog Top OM PS-S combines refined American craftsmanship with an inviting acoustic voice that rewards subtle phrasing and expressive playing.
