Drawing on Dana’s nearly half-century of lutherie experience, the Touchstone Series is designed to deliver a legendary Bourgeois tone and build quality to a broader range of players. The Touchstone Series guitars feature Old-Growth Alaskan Sitka Spruce tops and Adirondack Spruce braces harvested from deep in our backyard, selected and hand-voiced in Lewiston, Maine, by Dana Bourgeois and his team.

Using our renowned system of hand voicing, all Touchstone Series soundboards are optimized for tonal excellence by a team of skilled luthiers right here in Maine. The back and sides of the Vintage/TS are made with carefully selected Indian Rosewood — each specialized step performed by hand to bring out the beauty and tonal complexity of the instrument.
