The Eastman T186MX-GB is where boutique hollowbody construction meets serious tonal ambition. Unlike most thinlines that rely on laminate tops, the T186MX is built with an all-solid hand-carved maple top over solid mahogany back and sides — a spec that elevates its resonance, dynamics, and sustain well beyond the competition. Bare Knuckle BC Old Guard Custom Humbuckers translate every nuance of that solid-wood voice into rich, complex output that works equally well for warm jazz tones, punchy blues, or driving rock. Flamed maple binding on the body, neck, and headstock, along with a Goldburst Truetone Gloss finish, make this one of the most visually striking instruments in the Eastman lineup.
