The Eastman T49/V-GB is a 16" Florentine archtop finished in Antique Varnish — a hand-applied process that gives the Antique Goldburst finish a depth and warmth that standard gloss simply can’t replicate. Built on a laminated maple body with a single floating Lollar Custom Aged/Wound Imperial Humbucker, it delivers the clean, airy jazz tone that archtop players have chased for decades, with the added character of an aged-wound pickup that feels lived-in from day one. Relic Series Gotoh hardware throughout, ivoroid multi-ply binding on the top, back, neck, and f-holes, pearl split-block inlays, and aged nickel appointments make this one of the most authentic-feeling vintage-inspired archtops in Eastman’s lineup. Includes a hardshell case.
