Alvarez LT60e Sunset – Laureate 000 12-Fret Acoustic-Electric Guitar (with AFC30 FlexiCase)

Overview

The Alvarez LT60e Sunset is a beautifully crafted, all-solid acoustic-electric guitar that combines the timeless elegance of early 20th-century instruments with the exceptional craftsmanship of Alvarez's flagship Laureate Series. Featuring a traditional 000 body shape, 12-fret neck joint, and stunning Sunset Gloss finish, the LT60e delivers outstanding tonal balance, responsiveness, and vintage-inspired character.

At the heart of this instrument is a premium AAA solid North American Sitka spruce top, paired with solid African mahogany back and sides. This classic tonewood combination produces a warm, articulate voice with rich midrange presence, clear highs, and excellent dynamic response. The 000 body offers impressive projection while maintaining the comfort and intimacy that fingerstyle players and acoustic enthusiasts appreciate.

Built with Alvarez's meticulous bench-made approach, the LT60e Sunset features hand-finished FS6 bracing, premium ebony appointments, and elegant abalone inlays. The traditional single-level ebony bridge and ivoroid binding complete its refined vintage aesthetic.

Equipped with the LR Baggs HiFi pickup system, the LT60e Sunset delivers natural, detailed amplified sound, making it equally at home in the studio, on stage, or in an intimate acoustic setting.

Premium Laureate Construction

Hand-Selected Solid Tonewoods

The Laureate Series represents Alvarez's commitment to exceptional materials and craftsmanship. Every component, from the bridge plate and braces to the side supports and kerfing, is carefully selected for structural integrity and tonal performance.

The premium quartersawn Sitka spruce top is carefully thickness-sanded to maximize responsiveness, allowing the instrument to react effortlessly to subtle playing dynamics.

Hand-Finished FS6 Bracing

Alvarez's forward-shifted FS6 bracing is crafted from carefully selected quartersawn Sitka spruce and individually hand-finished to optimize resonance and vibration. This refined construction enhances projection, tonal balance, and dynamic range while maintaining excellent note separation.

Solid African Mahogany Back & Sides

Beautifully selected solid African mahogany provides warmth, clarity, and a focused midrange response. Paired with the Sitka spruce top, it creates a balanced, expressive acoustic voice that responds beautifully to fingerpicking, light strumming, and more dynamic playing styles.

Traditional 000 12-Fret Design

Inspired by the classic 000 guitars of the early 1900s, the LT60e features a comfortable, medium-sized body with a traditional 12-fret neck joint. Its full 25½-inch scale length provides excellent string definition and articulation, while the body design offers impressive resonance and projection.

Premium Ebony Appointments

The LT60e Sunset features a premium ebony fingerboard, bridge, and headstock plate. The traditional single-level ebony bridge reflects the vintage-inspired philosophy of the Laureate Series, while elegant abalone inlays and ivoroid binding add a sophisticated finishing touch.

Sunset Gloss Finish

The rich Sunset Gloss finish gives the LT60e a distinctive vintage-inspired appearance, beautifully complementing the natural grain of the solid Sitka spruce top.

Alvarez's refined finishing process uses an exceptionally thin gloss coating designed to preserve the instrument's natural resonance and responsiveness. The solid African mahogany back and sides are finished in Natural Gloss, showcasing the beauty of the wood.

Electronics

LR Baggs HiFi Pickup System

The LT60e Sunset comes equipped with the premium LR Baggs HiFi pickup system, designed to reproduce the instrument's natural acoustic character with exceptional clarity and dynamic response.

Using discreet bridge-plate sensors, the system captures the guitar's resonance, articulation, and tonal detail while maintaining a clean, traditional appearance.

Whether performing live, recording, or playing through an acoustic amplifier, the LR Baggs HiFi delivers a warm, balanced, and authentic amplified sound.
