The Alvarez MP60E Shadowburst brings all-solid construction and premium appointments to a compact, traditional parlor guitar. A solid AAA Sitka spruce top and solid African mahogany back and sides give it a warm, articulate voice, with the focused character that makes a smaller-bodied acoustic so inviting for fingerstyle playing, blues, and intimate accompaniment.

Alvarez’s FS6 forward-shifted, scalloped bracing allows a larger area of the soundboard to vibrate freely, helping this compact instrument deliver an open, responsive sound. Carefully selected tonewoods and considered brace shaping support clear note separation and expressive dynamics, rewarding both a light touch and more assertive playing.

The 24" scale length, 1¾" nut width, and 12-fret neck joint create a comfortable platform for intricate fingerpicking and relaxed chord work. Its compact dimensions make the MP60E an easy guitar to settle in with, whether you’re writing songs, recording, or playing at home.

A Shadowburst gloss top lends vintage-inspired character, complemented by natural gloss mahogany back and sides. The East Indian rosewood fingerboard and headstock facing, premium mother-of-pearl inlays, and open-gear tuners complete its refined styling. A bi-level rosewood bridge, ebony bridge pins, and bone nut and saddle round out the build.

For amplified performance, the LR Baggs HiFi system pairs dual bridge-plate sensors with a built-in preamp to capture the guitar’s balance, definition, and dynamics. Its lightweight, non-invasive design preserves the instrument’s acoustic character, while the closed sensors help resist feedback.
