The Yairi CYM75 draws on the workshop’s long tradition of classical guitar building, combining carefully seasoned tonewoods with refined Japanese craftsmanship. A solid AAA Western red cedar top and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides give this Masterworks classical a warm, inviting voice with depth and harmonic richness.

Responsive to a light touch, the cedar top brings expression to delicate passages, while rosewood adds fullness and sustain. The CYM75’s balanced response suits melodic lines, layered fingerstyle arrangements and traditional classical repertoire, allowing subtle changes in touch and phrasing to come through clearly.

A hand-carved Yairi fan bracing system shapes the soundboard’s response, paired with a traditional Spanish heel neck joint. These construction details reflect Yairi’s approach to classical guitar design, supported by premium tonewoods naturally seasoned for five to fifteen years.

The mahogany neck joins the body at the 12th fret and carries an ebony fingerboard with 19 frets. A 650 mm scale length and 51 mm nut width provide traditional classical proportions, with generous room for precise fretting and finger independence.

A natural gloss finish highlights the cedar top, complemented by abalone and mother-of-pearl details, a rosewood headstock plate and brown ABS binding. Gotoh tuners, a rosewood bridge, a bone nut and a TUSQ™ saddle complete the appointments. Handcrafted in Kani, Japan, and supplied with a hardshell case, the CYM75 offers an elegant blend of warmth, clarity and traditional craftsmanship.
