The Alvarez AB60ce brings a warm, full-bodied bass voice to acoustic sessions, rehearsals and live performances. Its comfortable 32-inch medium scale offers an approachable playing feel, while the cutaway body provides easier access to the upper frets.

A solid A+ Sitka spruce top pairs with African mahogany back and sides for a sound with depth, definition and a clear, woody character. Alvarez’s FST2 bracing balances strength with responsiveness, helping the top deliver lively projection and articulate bass notes.

Part of the Alvarez Artist Series, the AB60ce features thoughtfully chosen components throughout. A bi-level Indian laurel bridge, bone nut and saddle, and African mahogany neck complement its solid-top construction, while the natural gloss top highlights the spruce grain. An Indian laurel fingerboard and chrome closed-gear tuners complete its clean, traditional appearance.

For amplified playing, the LR Baggs StagePro Bronze system combines an Element under-saddle pickup with convenient side-mounted controls. Volume, bass and treble adjustments let you shape your sound, while a phase switch and large backlit tuner make it practical onstage. The battery compartment is integrated into the endpin jack assembly for easy access.
