Alvarez – Laureate Series LD70e — Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric with AFC30 Flexicase

The Alvarez LD70e pairs premium tonewoods with carefully considered craftsmanship to deliver a rich, expressive dreadnought voice. Its AAA solid North American Sitka spruce top and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides offer deep bass, clear trebles, and complex overtones, equally suited to full chord work and delicate fingerpicking.

The Laureate Series takes a bench-made approach, with individually selected braces, bridge plates, and internal components. Hand-finished FS6 forward-shifted bracing uses quartersawn Sitka spruce, carefully sanded to enhance response and vibration. A precisely thicknessed top and thin gloss finish further support the guitar’s resonance.

An ebony fingerboard, headstock facing, bridge pins, and traditional single-level bridge complement premium abalone inlays for an understated, elegant appearance. The natural finish highlights the grain and character of the solid tonewoods.

Equipped with an LR Baggs HiFi pickup system, the LD70e brings its detailed acoustic voice to amplified performance. Includes an AFC30 Flexicase.
