Alvarez Laureate Series LF60e Sunset OM Acoustic-Electric with AFC30 Flexicase

The Alvarez LF60e Sunset combines premium solid tonewoods with refined craftsmanship in a comfortable OM body. Its AAA solid North American Sitka spruce top and solid African mahogany back and sides produce a warm, articulate voice with clear note separation and a focused midrange. Responsive to a light touch, it suits fingerstyle playing while retaining clarity for strummed accompaniment.

The Laureate Series takes a bench-made approach, with carefully selected braces, bridge plates, and internal components. Hand-finished FS6 forward-shifted bracing uses quartersawn Sitka spruce, precisely sanded to encourage resonance and response. A carefully thicknessed top and thin gloss finish allow the instrument’s acoustic character to shine through.

The Sunset finish is complemented by ivoroid binding, premium abalone inlays, and ebony appointments. A traditional single-level ebony bridge reflects the series’ vintage-inspired styling, while the 25-inch scale length and OM proportions provide a comfortable playing experience.

Equipped with an LR Baggs HiFi pickup system, the LF60e Sunset brings its warm, detailed voice to amplified performance. Includes an AFC30 Flexicase.
