The Alvarez LF70E Daybreak combines premium all-solid tonewoods, comfortable OM proportions, and the refined craftsmanship of the Laureate Series. A solid AAA North American Sitka spruce top and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides deliver a rich, articulate voice with depth and clarity for fingerstyle arrangements, melodic passages, and strummed accompaniment.

Laureate construction takes a meticulous approach to every component. Bridge plates, braces, side braces, and kerfing are individually selected for quality, while the FS6 forward-shifted bracing is cut from quartersawn Sitka spruce and hand-sanded. Careful attention to brace weight and placement encourages resonance and a sensitive response to your touch.

The subtle Daybreak burst adds vintage-inspired depth to the spruce top, complemented by natural gloss rosewood back and sides. A thin clearcoat brings out the beauty of the woods, while ebony binding and premium abalone inlays give the LF70E an elegant, understated appearance.

Ebony is also used for the fingerboard, headstock plate, and traditional single-level Laureate bridge. A bone nut and saddle and premium open-gear tuners complete its carefully selected appointments. With a 25" scale length, 1¾" nut width, and 14-fret neck joint, the LF70E offers a comfortable, versatile platform for detailed chord work and expressive picking.

For amplified performance, the LR Baggs HiFi system pairs dual bridge-plate sensors with a built-in preamp to capture the guitar’s balance, definition, and dynamics. Its lightweight design preserves the instrument’s acoustic character, while the closed sensors help resist feedback.

An Alvarez AFC30 FlexiCase is included.
