The Bourgeois Country Boy OM PS-S combines understated styling with an expressive acoustic voice. Handcrafted by the Bourgeois team in Lewiston, Maine, it pairs a solid AAAA-grade Sitka spruce top with solid mahogany back and sides in a comfortable Orchestra Model body.

The spruce-and-mahogany combination delivers clear articulation, warmth and a focused response. Its balanced OM proportions suit intricate fingerstyle passages, melodic flatpicking and rhythmic accompaniment, giving players a versatile instrument with plenty of musical detail.

The PS-S features a thin satin nitrocellulose lacquer finish that highlights the natural wood and provides a smooth feel. Bourgeois’ careful hand-voicing develops each instrument’s balance and responsiveness.

An ebony fingerboard with mother-of-pearl vintage-style dots and a traditional ebony bridge complement the wood-ring rosette. The ziricote headstock veneer, inlaid Bourgeois logo and Schaller tuners complete its restrained, classic appearance.

Bourgeois’ proprietary detachable neck joint supports long-term adjustment and serviceability. Supplied with a hardshell case, the Country Boy OM PS-S brings handmade American craftsmanship to an acoustic equally at home in practice, recording and performance.
