Bourgeois The Natural Slope Dreadnought PS-S pairs classic slope-shoulder styling with a warm, articulate acoustic voice. Handcrafted in Lewiston, Maine, this Professional Series guitar combines a hand-voiced Sitka spruce top with Honduran mahogany back and sides, finished in ultra-thin satin nitrocellulose lacquer for an understated appearance and smooth feel.

Sitka spruce provides clarity and dynamic range, while mahogany adds warmth and focused mids. The slope dreadnought body gives rhythmic accompaniment depth and fullness, with the definition needed for melodic picking and expressive fingerstyle arrangements.

A 25-inch scale length provides an inviting playing feel, complemented by a 1-23/32-inch nut width for detailed chord work. Carefully voiced bracing supports the soundboard’s response, while Dana Bourgeois’ proprietary bolt-on neck design provides practical long-term serviceability.

A ziricote fingerboard and matching rectangular bridge complement the natural wood tones, accented by tiny mother-of-pearl dots, ivoroid binding and a single-ring ivoroid rosette. The ebony headstock veneer carries a mother-of-pearl Bourgeois logo, adding a refined finishing touch.

Schaller nickel tuners with ivoroid oval buttons and a tortoise celluloid pickguard complete the traditional styling.
