The Yairi CYM75CE brings traditional classical craftsmanship together with the versatility of a cutaway acoustic-electric. Handcrafted in Kani, Japan, it pairs a solid AAA Western red cedar top with solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, delivering a warm, expressive voice with depth and harmonic richness.

Cedar’s sensitive response brings detail to a lighter touch, while rosewood adds fullness and sustain. Balanced across the strings, the CYM75CE lends itself to classical repertoire, melodic fingerstyle and intricate accompaniment. Its cutaway provides convenient access to the upper frets, extending the possibilities for solo arrangements.

Hand-carved scalloped fan bracing shapes the soundboard’s response, paired with a traditional Spanish heel neck joint. Premium tonewoods naturally seasoned for five to fifteen years reflect the patient preparation and attention to detail behind Yairi’s Masterworks instruments.

The one-piece mahogany neck joins the body at the 12th fret and carries an ebony fingerboard with 19 frets. A 650 mm scale length and 51 mm nut width provide traditional classical proportions, with room for precise fretting and complex chord voicings.

A natural gloss finish highlights the cedar top, complemented by brown ABS binding, a rosewood headstock plate and gold Gotoh tuners with pearloid buttons. A rosewood bridge, bone nut and TUSQ™ saddle complete the appointments. Equipped with an LR Baggs Element VTC pickup system and supplied with a hardshell case, the CYM75CE offers refined acoustic character with the flexibility for amplified performance.
