Paired with solid sapele back and sides, this compact body delivers a warm, balanced voice with surprising depth, clarity, and projection that belies its size.

Hand-scalloped X-bracing lets the top respond dynamically to every nuance of your playing, from fingerpicked arpeggios to full open-chord strumming. The slope-shoulder body sits naturally against you and produces a focused, articulate midrange that translates beautifully in the studio or on stage — and with the Fishman Presys VT onboard, you're always ready to plug in.

The mahogany neck features a comfortable Traditional Even "C" profile and a shorter 24.75" scale length that makes chord work effortless. The ebony fingerboard and bridge add snap and sustain, while a bone nut and saddle ensure clean, open tone transfer from the first fret to the last. At 1.68" nut width, it strikes the perfect balance between comfortable fingerpicking and confident chord playing.

Finished in a rich Sunburst Truetone Gloss on both top and back, the DLX features classic tortoise pickguard, pearl headstock inlay, pearl dot fretboard markers, white body binding, black neck binding, and vintage open-gear nickel tuners — a look that nods to the golden era of American acoustic craftsmanship.
