Eastman E1SS-SB Sunburst Acoustic Guitar

The Eastman E1SS-SB is a slope-shouldered small body acoustic that punches well above its price point. Built around a solid Sitka spruce top — torrefied to replicate the resonance and responsiveness of a well-aged vintage instrument — paired with solid sapele back and sides, this guitar delivers a warm, balanced tone with surprising depth and clarity for its compact body size.

The hand-scalloped X-bracing lets the top breathe and respond dynamically to your playing, whether you're fingerpicking delicate arpeggios or driving through open chords. The slope-shoulder body shape sits comfortably against the body and produces a focused, articulate midrange that makes it equally at home in the studio or around a campfire.

A mahogany neck with a comfortable Traditional Even "C" profile and a shorter 24.75" scale length makes this one of the most playable acoustics in its class — chords feel effortless, and the 12" fingerboard radius keeps barre chords comfortable all night long. The ebony fingerboard and bridge add snap and sustain, while the bone nut and saddle ensure clean tone transfer from the first fret to the last.

Finished in a warm Sunburst Truetone Satin on both top and back, the E1SS-SB has a classic, understated look with pearl headstock inlay, pearl dot fretboard markers, tortoise pickguard, and vintage open-gear nickel tuners that nod to the golden era of American acoustic guitar making.

Strung with D'Addario XT Phosphor Bronze .012–.053 strings and set up with a low, comfortable action (3/32" bass / 2/32" treble at the 12th fret), this guitar is ready to play straight out of the box. Includes a deluxe padded Eastman gigbag.
