The Epiphone SST Studio is essentially a solid bodied (with cavities) guitar that sounds like an acoustic when played clean through an amp. The tone is absolutely superb, as the Piezo pickup gives amazing clarity to each string.
With gain the guitar sounds more like a traditional electric, and was fairly shouty, but it is in the clean tones where this really shines - Grover tuners
