The Harmony Comet is a distinctive semi-hollow electric guitar inspired by the original Harmony H72 of the 1960s, bringing one of Harmony's most memorable vintage designs into the modern era. With its elegant double-cutaway body, carved mahogany construction, and unmistakable Gold Foil pickups, the Comet captures the character of classic American guitar making while offering contemporary playability and performance.

Built in the historic Heritage Guitar factory in Kalamazoo, Michigan, the Comet is a genuine American-made instrument crafted in one of the most significant facilities in the history of American guitar building.

The Comet features a genuine mahogany top and back with a center block, combining the warmth and resonance of a semi-hollow guitar with the sustain, stability, and feedback resistance of a solid-body design. Its carved construction produces a naturally open, acoustic-like quality while retaining the focused response needed for higher-volume playing.

A pair of Custom Gold Foil Humbuckers provides the Comet's distinctive voice. Warm, articulate, and harmonically rich, these pickups deliver everything from clear, expressive cleans to thick, powerful overdrive, making the Comet equally at home with blues, rock, roots, and more.

The push/pull Master Volume adds another layer of tonal versatility, engaging an out-of-phase setting that produces a distinctive, thinner and more focused character. Combined with the Master Tone and 3-way toggle, the Comet offers an intuitive control layout with plenty of tonal range.

The long-tenon set mahogany neck contributes to the guitar's sustain and resonance, while the comfortable “C” profile, 12" radius rosewood fingerboard, and 22 medium jumbo frets provide a smooth and familiar playing experience. A bone nut, locking tuners, Tune-O-Matic bridge and tailpiece, and premium chrome hardware complete the package.

The Comet's six-in-line headstock pays homage to the distinctive silhouette of the original H72, while the Sunburst nitrocellulose finish gives this modern instrument the unmistakable visual character of a classic American electric.
