The Alvarez LD60E combines traditional dreadnought design with the carefully selected materials and refined construction of the Laureate Series. A solid AAA North American Sitka spruce top and solid African mahogany back and sides deliver a clear, powerful voice with warmth, definition, and the dynamic range for both expressive picking and full-bodied strumming.

Laureate construction takes a meticulous approach to every component. Bridge plates, braces, side braces, and kerfing are individually selected for structural quality and appearance. The FS6 forward-shifted bracing is cut from quartersawn Sitka spruce and hand-sanded, with close attention paid to brace weight and placement to enhance soundboard response.

Premium tonewood selection allows Alvarez to work with a slightly thinner top, encouraging resonance and sensitivity to your touch. A carefully applied thin clearcoat completes the build, bringing visual depth while supporting the instrument’s lively acoustic response.

Ebony is used for the fingerboard, headstock facing, bridge pins, and traditional single-level Laureate bridge. Premium abalone inlays, ivoroid binding, and open-gear tuners give the LD60E an elegant, understated appearance. A bone nut and saddle round out its premium appointments.

The 25½" scale length, 1¾" nut width, and 14-fret neck joint provide a familiar, versatile platform for flatpicking, fingerstyle playing, and acoustic accompaniment.

For amplified performance, the LR Baggs HiFi system pairs dual bridge-plate sensors with a built-in preamp to capture the guitar’s balance, definition, and dynamics.

An Alvarez AFC30 FlexiCase is included.
