Alvarez Masterworks Series MF70CE Natural Gloss OM Acoustic-Electric Guitar with AFC30 FlexiCase

Alvarez Masterworks Series MF70CE Natural Gloss OM Acoustic-Electric Guitar with AFC30 FlexiCase

The Alvarez MF70CE combines the balance and comfort of an OM body with the rich voice of solid East Indian rosewood. Paired with a solid AAA Sitka spruce top, its all-solid construction delivers articulate notes, deep bass, and clear trebles, making it a versatile choice for fingerstyle playing, strummed accompaniment, and expressive lead work.

Designed for even response across all six strings, the MF70CE uses Alvarez’s lightweight FS6 forward-shifted, scalloped bracing. This design allows a larger area of the soundboard to vibrate freely, balancing the OM’s focused, rounded notes with open projection. The result is a responsive instrument that gives intricate passages room to speak while retaining fullness for chord work.

A natural gloss finish highlights the spruce and rosewood, complemented by an East Indian rosewood fingerboard and headstock facing. Premium mother-of-pearl inlays and open-gear tuners lend a traditional finishing touch, while the bi-level rosewood bridge, ebony bridge pins, and bone nut and saddle complete its carefully considered appointments.

The 24 13/16" scale length offers a comfortable playing feel, and the 1¾" nut width provides room for detailed fingerstyle work. A cutaway allows easy access to the upper frets, extending the guitar’s versatility for melodic playing.

For amplified performance, the LR Baggs HiFi system pairs lightweight dual bridge-plate sensors with a built-in preamp to capture the guitar’s balance, definition, and dynamics. Its closed sensor design helps resist feedback, while the unobtrusive installation preserves the instrument’s acoustic character.

An Alvarez AFC30 FlexiCase is included.
