The Yairi DYM60HD pairs a solid AAAA Adirondack spruce top with solid vintage Honduran mahogany back and sides for a powerful, expressive dreadnought voice. Handcrafted in Japan, this Honduran Series acoustic combines premium tonewoods, a lightweight build and refined appointments beneath a natural gloss finish.

Adirondack spruce provides clarity and headroom, responding to delicate picking while supporting a strong strumming attack. Honduran mahogany brings warmth and focused mids, giving the DYM60HD a full low end balanced by round, clear trebles. The result is a versatile voice for flatpicking, rhythmic accompaniment and fingerstyle playing.

A thin finish and hand-carved FST2 forward-shifted bracing with asymmetric tone bars encourage a lively, responsive soundboard. Yairi’s ebony Direct Coupled bridge transfers string vibration into the top, complemented by an extended dovetail neck joint and careful attention to construction.

The one-piece mahogany neck features a semi-gloss finish and an ebony fingerboard, with a 25½-inch scale length and 44 mm nut width providing a comfortable platform for chord work and melodic playing. The neck joins the body at the 14th fret, preserving familiar dreadnought proportions.

Ivoroid binding, an ebony headstock plate and gold Gotoh 510 tuners with ebony buttons complete the understated appearance. A bone nut, TUSQ™ saddle and ebony bridge pins round out the appointments. Supplied with a hardshell case, the DYM60HD brings together acoustic power, tonal warmth and meticulous Japanese craftsmanship.
